Known for its delicious fruit and long lifespan, the mango tree supports farmer incomes through local market sales while also contributing to food security.

Environmentally, mango trees improve soil health, offer shade, support biodiversity, and help maintain a balanced microclimate. Their deep roots prevent erosion and enhance water retention, making them ideal for agroforestry systems. Activities During Tree Plantation

The tree plantation event at Dongarpada, Karjat, Maharastra was marked by a series of engaging and impactful activities that reflected KBR’s commitment to environmental sustainability and employee participation.

With the land prepared and pits pre-dug in advance, employees and volunteers enthusiastically took part in planting saplings and watering the newly planted Mango trees. On-ground experts were present to guide participants in handling the saplings with care and ensuring they were planted correctly.
