About Grow Billion Trees
We plant, geo-tag and look after every tree for three years, for companies, NGOs and families.
Indian companies, and global companies with work in India, have pledged to conserve, restore and grow trees through 1t.org, the World Economic Forum's trillion trees platform. In January 2026, 1t.org became the Forest Future Alliance, housed within the World Economic Forum. This tracker lists the pledges covered on our blog, with each figure linked to the company's own announcement or the platform's page.
Last reviewed: October 2026. We list a figure only where we could confirm it from the company or the platform.

We've written about these pledges, but couldn't confirm the figures from the company or the platform, so they're not in the table. Check with the company before citing them.
The World Economic Forum launched 1t.org in 2020 to support the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. In January 2026, at its Annual Meeting in Davos, the Forum relaunched it as the Forest Future Alliance, which supports companies and philanthropists in forest conservation, restoration and stewardship. The US chapter of 1t.org is now called Forests Plus.
We help companies design a credible forest pledge, plant and care for the trees, track every tree on GreenTrack and report progress every year. Plan your forest pledge or read all pledge stories.

Every pin is a project with its own digital forest. Filter by programme or state, or search for a company.
Pins show the approximate area of each project, not exact plot locations. Updated 2026-10-06.
