Activities During Tree Plantation
As part of its commitment to sustainability, Fareportal marked a meaningful step in its green journey with a tree plantation drive held at Kherla, Block Sohna, District Gurugram, Haryana – 122102. The initiative was thoughtfully planned, considering the local soil and climatic conditions, and focused on planting native and ecologically beneficial species to restore green cover and enhance biodiversity.
Earlier in March 2025, around 2,000 saplings had already been planted as part of the broader agroforestry initiative. To further this effort, a special event was organised where Fareportal employees actively participated alongside local farmers, planting an additional 200 saplings. The pits had been prepared in advance to ensure smooth execution, and the employees planted and watered the saplings with great care and enthusiasm.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose. This hands-on initiative not only strengthened employee engagement and community bonding but also reaffirmed Fareportal’s dedication to environmental stewardship and collective action for a sustainable future.
