For Farmers
Farmers in our agroforestry programmes plant fruit and timber trees on their own land, alongside their regular crops. The trees are funded by companies through their CSR and sustainability programmes; we provide saplings, planting support, training and care checks. Income from fruit and timber can raise farm income up to 3× compared with conventional two-crop farming.
What farmers get
- Saplings of fruit and timber species suited to your land and water.
- Planting support and protection advice.
- Field training on care, pruning and harvest.
- Regular checks of every tree, recorded on GreenTrack.
- Advice on selling your fruit and timber.
Ways your land can earn
- Fruit income: Fruit trees such as mango, guava, lemon or chikoo bring a harvest every year once they mature.
- Timber income: Timber trees on bunds and boundaries become a valuable harvest over the years.
- Up to 3× farm income: Fruit and timber add to what your crops already earn. Compared with conventional two-crop farming.
- Support at no cost: Trees are funded by companies through CSR; you get saplings, planting support and training.
