• Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI) -The Government of Rajasthan and USAID launched the "Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI)" program, uniting farmers, companies, and private institutions to boost tree coverage beyond traditional forests. The initiative aims to enhance carbon sequestration, aid local communities, and bolster climate resilience in agriculture, aligning with global climate change mitigation and adaptation objectives.
• Integrated Afforestation and Eco-development Projects -The Indian government has approved six Integrated Afforestation and Eco-development Projects (IAEP) for Kota, Jhalawar, Banswara, Tonk, Udaipur, and Sariska Tiger Reserve. The projects, aimed at reforesting 15,000 hectares in degraded areas, have a total budget of Rs. 1800.00 lacs. All projects are currently underway, contributing to environmental restoration and sustainable development.
• Janta Van Yojna - The Janta Van Yojana, initiated in 1996-97, aims to engage VFPMCs and other institutions in executing works in forest and plantation areas, extending beyond protection and management. The scheme assigns plantation and protection responsibilities to VFPMCs, Gram Panchayats, Sainik Kalyan Sangathan, or experienced NGOs for five years. Payments are made based on their performance.
• Rehabilitation of degraded forests by association of tribals - The Government of India initiated a pilot project, "Rehabilitation of Degraded Forests by Association of Tribals," focusing on tribal-dominated regions in Udaipur, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh from 1998-99 to 2001-2002. The project, with a total outlay of Rs. 107.64 lacs, aims to reforest 800 hectares in these areas, promoting environmental rehabilitation. 
• Banas Project - This is a scheme that will be implemented within the districts of Tonk, Jaipur, and Dausa wherein intensive soil and moisture conservation measures will be taken up in agriculture, forest, and wastelands in the catchment area of river Banas.
