Natalie 

Natalie is the Program & Marketing Director at OKC Beautiful, a non-profit organization based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, dedicated to promoting sustainable living. OKC Beautiful offers education, assistance, and resources to enhance the city's urban environment. Their initiatives include tree planting, litter prevention, environmental education for youth, and more.

Growing up on rural farmland in Oklahoma, Natalie developed a deep appreciation for nature, which eventually inspired her to pursue a career in urban forestry. In our full interview with Natalie, she shares insights into her journey from rural landscapes to urban tree planting in Oklahoma City.

Amber 

Amber, a Los Angeles-based Life and Business Coach, has supported One Tree Planted since 2019, driven by her passion for equality and restoration. Her thriving coaching practice serves a broad spectrum of clients, including actors, producers, parents, small business owners, coaches, and corporate and creative executives. Amber also leads coaching groups focused on helping individuals embrace their authenticity. Prabha Devi 

At 79 years old, this remarkable woman defies age barriers, showcasing the power of determination. Astonishingly, she has single-handedly cultivated an entire forest in her village, a testament to her unwavering commitment. Situated in Palashat village, under Rudraprayag district, her forest stands as a symbol of her relentless efforts. Despite nearing 80, she diligently tends to the forest daily, contributing significantly to environmental preservation. Her inspiring dedication serves as a source of pride, exemplifying the impact of individual action.

Tulsi Gowda 

Hailing from Honnali village, Ankola taluk in Karnataka, an environmentalist received the prestigious Padma Shri from the Indian government in 2021 for her outstanding contributions. Renowned as the 'Encyclopedia of Forest', she has planted over 30,000 saplings and oversees forest department nurseries. Despite reaching 70, she tirelessly employed her traditional wisdom at the nursery, aiding afforestation efforts. Her remarkable ability to identify mother trees of various species highlights her invaluable dedication to environmental preservation.

Kollakkayil Devaki Amma 

Kollakkayil Devaki Amma initiated her environmental journey from her backyard, driven by her passion and climate change concerns. Inspired by her grandfather's horticultural guidance, her commitment grew stronger after marrying Gopalkrishna Pillai, whose family tradition involved agricultural work for women. Despite an injury that left her bedridden for three years, her family's support fueled her determination to plant saplings. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed surprise at her backyard's transformation into a forest over 35 years.
